About Micaila

Micaila grew up on the South Coast of Massachusetts and joined the United States Marine Corps upon graduating from high school.  Micaila has had a passion for photography since she was a young child taking dance classes.  She always wanted to be on the other side of the camera.  Photography started as a hobby for her and grew into something more as she traveled the world with the Marine Corps.​

 

After Micaila's time in the United States Marine Corps, she began her college career at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  She majored in Graphic Design with a minor in studio art photography.  After moving back to Massachusetts to be with family, Micaila decided to finish her degree works at Bridgewater State University. ​Micaila wants to take her two worlds of the military and photography to document the lives and times of veterans in the community.
